We are often exposed to images and tales of Australia's 'great arid landscape' and 'powerful natural wonders' that have absolutely no connection to the australia we remember, growing up in Sydney's inner west. We hope to capture the people, places and experiences that we encounter over the next few weeks, as we endeavour to discover the awesome power of Australia that we have heard so much about.

Welcome
Hollie and Louise are Australians who live in London and have returned home for 3 weeks in high summer. This blog is to document our effort to reconnect with a country that has shaped us, but that we now find difficult to relate to.
